How to Install Enlightenment E22 via PPA on Ubuntu 17.10

Enlightenment originally began as a project to create a Window Manager for X11. Since then it's grown into the one million lines of C code that form the EFL libraries, as well as a Window Manager and a set of applications. There's a vibrant and active community of developers and users who work on and use the code every day.

Enlightenment E22 Highlights:
  • Greatly improved Wayland support
  • Improvements to new gadget infrastructure
  • Added a sudo/ssh askpass utility gui
  • meson build system
  • tiling policy improvements
  • integrated per-window volume controls
  • See release note for details.
